Universal Studios Florida houses this Halloween premier event every year since 1991. The first one was a three-night event with only one haunted house. Can you imagine?  Wow! Has it ever grown.

First House Announced – Stranger Things

Netflix’s Stranger Things is returning to Halloween Horror Nights in 2019.

Experience an all-new haunted house where you will travel back to the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. Walk-through the most terrifying of scenes from within Chief Hopper’s cabin to the Starcourt Mall all from Stranger Things seasons 2 and season 3.

Stay tuned as this is only the beginning. There will be ten haunted houses, five scare zones, and live entertainment yet to be announced.

Second House Announced – Nightingales: Blood Pit

Universal has now revealed the second haunted house for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights: Nightingales: Blood Pit.

Set in ancient Rome, right in the middle of a gladiatorial arena, where the Nightingales will feast on the dead and dying.

You will try to survive along with the gladiators as these carnivorous banshees rip into their victims.  While praying they don’t notice you, the fresh blood in their midst, their possible next victim?

Third House Announced – Universal Monsters

Universal’s Monsters are coming to Halloween Horror Nights.

The Legends of Horror from Universal’s Iconic horror movies will hunt you down. Enter their domain if you must, but be prepared for the consequences. They are bloodthirsty.

Classic monsters include Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein, Creature of the Black Lagoon and the Mummy.

Fourth House Announced – Depths Of Fear

The miners of a deep-sea mining company are in a dreadful position. They have dived too deep and ran into a nightmare of monstrous creatures.

Beware of these slithering creatures known as the Mouthbrooders. These monsters will spew flesh-eating acidic eggs at we humans.

Fifth House Announced – Yeti: Terror Of The Yukon

Deep in the tundra of the Yukon, residents are seeking refuge from the arctic blizzard. Unknown to these unfortunate souls, something much worse than ice and cold lurks amongst them.   This area is haunted by the loggers’ worst nightmare…the Yeti.

The logging camp has been torn apart but there is nowhere to run. How do you escape the beast inside and the beast of a blizzard outside? Icy terror will sweep through you as you enter the labyrinth of caves. With a trail of blood and screams to guide you. Run, but you can’t escape the inevitable…can you?

Sixth House Announced – Ghostbusters

For the first time, Ghostbusters is coming to Halloween Horror Nights in a new haunted house in the form of an interactive maze.

The original Ghostbusters landed in theaters in 1984. Come celebrate Ghostbuster’s 35th anniversary, by walking through some of your favorite scenes like the New York Public Library, the Temple of Gozer and more.

In this haunted house, you’ll be transported to the streets of New York as the rift between worlds opens, releasing ghoulish spirits, hideous specters and ectoplasm-dripping phantasms in every shape and size. Come face-to-face with the voracious Slimer, the all-powerful Gozer the Gozerian, and the ultimate Stay-Puft Marshmallow.

Will the four paranormal investigators Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston be enough to save the day or will their proton packs fail?

Seventh House Announced – Killer Klowns From Outer Space

This year it’s not just a scare zone but an entire all-new haunted house experience based on the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space. If you didn’t think clowns were creepy before you will now.

Experience the Klowns’ circus-tent spaceship and the cotton candy cocoon storage room where they keep their victims. Gulp.

There are familiar aromas of your past enjoyable visits to the fairground. But don’t be fooled, this time murderous clowns await. Including baby Klowns, Boco, and Klownzilla.

There might only be one thing scarier than murderous clowns, and that would be Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Eighth House Announced – Jordan Peele’s Us

Jordan Peele’s horror blockbuster “Us” is the latest announcement for Halloween Horror Nights. The set for the haunted house begins in 1986, setting the attraction neatly within this year’s 80s theme.

This new haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights will walk through the Wilson family beach house and Santa Cruz Pier. Venture through the unnerving tunnels that stretch for miles deep below America and come face-to-face with “The Tethered” – a group of terrifying doppelgangers of every man, woman, and child. Us places guests at the heart of this living nightmare where they quickly realize they are their own worst enemy.

Ninth House Announced – Graveyard Games

Head to the Ascension Parish Cemetery, where you will witness the repercussions of disrespectful teens who try to raise the dead.

As you travel through the cemetery, you’ll wind your way through dark mausoleums and decaying piles of coffins. Every ghost will rise and seek revenge as you try to escape the maze of crumbling tombstones and dark mausoleums. Skeletons, apparitions, and vengeful spirits will drag you to the grave.

This house offers an interactive feature you’ll be able to chat with some of the local teens and storytellers before entering the haunted house. Just open Facebook Messenger on your phone, go to the Halloween Horror Nights page, and there you’ll learn about the history and the spooky legends of the cemetery.

Tenth House Announced – House of 1000 Corpses

Ever wonder how many corpses you can fit in a house? Well, not really, but the answer is 1000.  This haunted house is inspired by Rob Zombie’s horror masterpiece.

Meet the psychotic Firefly family and their collection of blood and gore. Come see “The Legend of Doctor Satan” come to life before your very eyes also experience Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters and Madmen. If you are one of the lucky ones you may make it out with your life.

Scare Zones

Zombieland Double Tap

Brush up on your rules of survival, this scare zone will put you right in the middle of Zombieland, based on the new movie. The infection has spread and bloodthirsty zombies are loose in the streets.  Remember to double-tap.

Rob Zombie Hellbilly Deluxe

Step into the heavy metal horror world of Rob Zombie’s music and imagery in this pulse-pounding scare zone. You’ll come face-to-face with his brutal creations as the music cranks.

Anarch-cade

This 80s-inspired arcade has taken over the Avenue of the Stars. You might think it just a party, but “Game Over” means a permanent end for you. Watch out for the gang of neon slashers.

Vanity Ball

In the streets of Hollywood, your flesh is the canvas for blade-wielding artists they will slice and dice up willing victims into horrific works of art.

Vikings Undead

The brutal Vikings have risen. The undead is laying siege to Central Park with an unmerciful attack. Their bloodlust will never die.

Shows

Academy of Villains: Altered States

Your favorite dance show returns in an epic experiment of mind and body. Man’s true nature will be drawn out into the dark, gothic streets of Anarchy. These wickedly talented artists are back for an all-new show featuring a killer mix of dance and amazing theatrics.

This is a great deal. Believe me when I say Halloween Horror Nights attracts a lot of people. People from all over the world come to attend this nighttime event. It’s that good. Halloween Horror Nights at a discount are even better.

Not recommended for kids under the age of thirteen. Way too intense for small children.  Heck, even some adults!

No costumes or masks allowed.
