Garden and Bay view rooms are 450 sq ft, and deluxe rooms are slightly larger.
Plenty of suites to choose from. The kid suites let mom and dad have a little privacy, and the kids have some fun! With a standard king bed for the adults plus a specialty themed bedroom with twin beds for the kids. It makes plenty of space for a family, which makes everyone happy. Suites include Despicable Me Kids Suites, Parlor Suites, and the incredible Governatore and Presidente Suites. Suites range in size from 650 – 2,725 sq ft.

Pools…yes pools. Three in all at the Portofino Bay hotel. Beach pool for families, villa pool for upgraded amenities and the hillside pool for more privacy. Poolside activities include something for everyone.
If you are ready for some total relaxation and calm (not at the theme parks) then Mandara Spa is a must. It is customized and personalized treatments to fit y our needs. Take a stroll through the piazza. The harbor piazza will transport you to Italy. With its cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes. Even Italian sports cars to make it even more authentic. This is also where the Musica delia Notte (Music of the Night) is performed each night at sunset (weather permitting).
There’s a fitness center, jogging/walking paths, bocce ball courts and more. Plus for the kids, there’s a camp and a game room.
What about shopping you say. There’s a handful of shops here. From high fashion resort wear, Murano glass to the forgotten sunscreen. Grab the last minute Universal Orlando Resort souvenir at the Universal Studios store.
Mama often greets guests of Mama Della’s Ristorante. Everyone is made to feel like family here. With authentic Italian cooking and strolling musicians to boot.
Bice Ristorante is for fine gourmet dining Northern Italian style. Bice restaurants span the globe today.
Check out the breakfast buffet and on select evenings the Past Cucina at the Trattoria del Porto. Kids are welcome at the Trattoria del Porto. They even have their own play area and big screen television.
A great place for a fast meal is Sal’s Market Deli. Take a pizza back to your hotel room or suite for a relaxing night in.
Specialty coffee and ice cream. Two of my favorites can be found at Gelateria.
Even a Starbucks for those in need. That would be me. Every morning.
Near the beach pool, is Splendido Bar & Grill. They are serving up sandwiches, salad, burgers, pizza… Perfect at the pool. Plus, what about the fruity drinks?
The Thirsty Fish is a bar of course. Beside cocktail and small plates, they have live music under the stars. Live music is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only.
Another spot for drinks is the posh Bar American.
