Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2019 returns for select nights from August 16 – November 1, 2019, with returning favorites along with all-new experiences.
There are weird and wondrous one-of-a-kind experiences that fright or delight. Experience Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, rare spooky to spectacular meet and greets, fiendishly fun live entertainment, Halloween decor, dazzling fireworks spectacular and some of the top attractions at the Magic Kingdom. Plus, of course, trick or treating throughout the park. What would a Halloween celebration be without sweets and treats? Dress up in your favorite costume and join the frightfully fun festivities.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular
For the first time in 14 years, Disney is debuting a brand new, Halloween fireworks spectacular. Making 2019 the perfect year to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” will be the host of this all-new nighttime extravaganza. This new fireworks show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting, and an incredible fireworks display. Jack has come to tell a not so scary story of how anything can happen on Halloween.
This show will take guests on a trick-or-treating adventure with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Their journey takes them to a haunted house where they will encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole lot of troublesome Disney villains.
Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way
Also new this year is Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
Enjoy tasty hors d’ oeuvres Halloween style. Along with Halloween flatbreads, desserts, and more. A variety of beverages, including beer and wine, will also be available. How do Mini De Vil brownies and Kanine Krunchy cake sound?
You will have a special reserved viewing area for the 11:15 pm parade. But the party is just getting started at Tony’s. Guests are able to come and go as they please until 12:30 am.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Disney Springs guests are invited to celebrate this summer’s release of “Descendants 3” at the Disney DescenDANCE Party, these villain kids will be rocking the Marketplace Stage at Disney Springs for a limited time July 26-Aug. 11, 2019.
No fear if you can’t make it this summer the dance party will continue at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Disney DescenDANCE Party will be taking the stage at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
New To The Treat Trail
Follow the treat trail into the Monster World at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor where you can interact in an all-new way with the comic cast of monsters as they learn about Halloween. Monsters also return with the Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball.
Returning is the ever so popular Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. It features the Sanderson Sisters along with Disney villains such as Oogie Boogie, Dr. Facilier, and Maleficent.
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade happens twice nightly. Featuring your favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween costumes, along with the Disney villains and a procession of fiendishly fun floats. All with the headless horseman in the lead.
Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam in Fantasyland is the spot for all the youngsters to party down with their favorite Disney Junior characters like Doc McStuffins and Vampirina.
Over in Frontierland, prospector Cactus-Flower Cate is rounding up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” The place to be to show off that special costume of yours. This event takes place just before the start of Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade.
The fireworks dessert parties are perfect for tasty devilish treats and dazzling views of the new Halloween fireworks spectacular. Desserts include chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, ice cream, seasonal fruits, cheeses, sparkling cider, signature lemonades, and other ghoulish goodies.
Pirates of the Caribbean will have real live pirates on your journey, engaged in a whole new adventure in search of treasure. Space Mountain will go completely dark, hurtling you through the blackness of deep space while rocking to a new soundtrack. Mad Tea Party riders will discover with each spin of the teacups they will travel into madder and madder territory, with special lighting and music.
You’ll also have access to dozens of the top attractions throughout the night. Please check back for details on what other rides will be open.
Official Costume Guidelines
As mentioned above you may attend dressed in costume. But there are Disney rules to adhere to.
- You may dress as your favorite character, but you may not pose for pictures or sign autographs.
- Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be offensive, objectionable or violent.
- Costumes may not contain any weapons that could be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- Costumes may not contain sharp or pointy objects that could strike another guest.
- Layered costumes that surround the entire body may be subject to additional security screening.
- Costumes may not touch or drag the ground.
- Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
- Masks of any kind may not be worn for ages 14 and over. Younger guests can wear a mask that doesn’t cover the entire face.
